Your therapist is there yo help you develop strategies for personal growth and positive life change.     Your therapist may use different therapeutic approaches, such as dialectical-behavior therapy (DBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) depending on the client's needs and preferences.

  • It's important to note that mental health therapy is a highly personalized process, and the specific techniques & duration of treatment can vary depending on the individual and their unique circumstances. Your therapist's role is to guide and support you on your journey toward improved mental and emotional well-being. This can range from a few months to a few years depending on treatment goals and life experiences.

  • Online mental health therapy typically involves video or audio calls between a client and a therapist, facilitated by secure online communication tools. Clients can connect with their therapist from the comfort of their own homes using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. This offers convenience, accessibility, and flexibility, making mental health support more readily available to everyone.

  • In your first therapy appointment, also known as the intake appointment, you can expect your therapist to ask about your reasons for seeking therapy and gather relevant background & life information. You'll have the chance to share your thoughts, feelings, & goals in a judgement-free environment. Your intake appointment is an opportunity to establish a relationship with your therapist and determine if it's a good fit for ongoing therapy.   • The cost of therapy can vary depending on several factors, including the therapist's credentials, location, and the type of therapy that they provide. On average, therapy sessions can range from $0 to $350 per session. Some therapists also offer reduced fees based on income. For specific costs and details click HERE.

  • I do not bill insurance directly or indirectly, and will not for the foreseeable future.

    I currently accept cash (electronic cash/credit) payments for costs of services . You are welcome to utilize FSA/HSA accounts and credit/debit cards to pay for services.

  • I utilize Pay What You Can and Reduced Fee financial models in my practice.

    It is important to me that I provide access to care regardless of economic status, or financial ability. If your financial situation changes at any time during our work together, I welcome conversation around financial suitability. I do not require any documentation of finances or proof of income.
